Lauren Martinez
President
Prior to beginning at the Stanford GSB, Lauren worked for two years in economic consulting and two years on Sephora’s digital strategy team. While there she worked with many different parts of the business including delivery strategies, store digital experiences, marketing, loyalty, and merchandising. Lauren graduated from Macalester College where she studied anthropology and economics. She did research on bridal boutiques (anthropology) and elasticities of demand of apparel (economics).

Margaret Greenberg
CFO & COO
Prior to attending the GSB, Margaret worked in the retail and consumer space as an investment banker in New York with Barclays and as an investor in Boston with Castanea Partners. She has worked with a range of retail and CPG companies including Proenza Schouler, Vince, MacKenzie-Childs, Smithfield, General Mills and Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams. Margaret grew up in Houston and graduated from Yale where she double majored in History and Italian. This summer she will be interning with the Global Retail team at Levi Strauss & Co.

Brittany Shaw
Vice President, Treks

Before business school, Brittany spent four years at Bain & Company, where she served retail and consumer clients ranging from department stores to beverage companies on topics such as merchandise localization, omnichannel strategy, and store operations. She also externed at Warby Parker in Product Strategy in an assortment strategy and merchandising role and spent the six months prior to the GSB helping form the largest consumer/retail PE firm in the world, L Catterton (the combination of Catterton and LVMH’s PE firm L Capital).

Esha Edupuganty
Vice President, Events

Prior to the GSB, Esha spent three years in high tech consumer growth companies. First, at the Gilt Groupe, where she was responsible for strategy and sales optimization, owning revenue forecasting and sales planning for the City division. She then moved to Postmates, where she worked on the Growth team over two years. At Postmates, she was responsible for managing and growing several key markets, in addition to owning Postmates’ email marketing program and pricing strategy.

Shabdha Chigurupati
President
Prior to GSB, Shabdha spent two years in private equity at Berkshire Partners and two years in investment banking at Morgan Stanley. At Berkshire, she worked on Front Row Partners, the fund’s high-growth consumer and retail investing arm, where she evaluated investment opportunities across all consumer verticals. Shabdha graduated from Yale University where she studied Economics and International Studies. This summer she will be interning at Glossier.

Rebecca Ackerman
Vice President, Communications

Prior to the GSB, Rebecca spent the last five years working as a technology consultant at IBM and later at Shell as an organizational readiness lead, focused on organizational strategy, executive engagement, and consumer insights. Additionally, she spent a summer with Estee Lauder’s sales and marketing division working on their product launch campaigns and digital strategy. She is hoping to pair her experience with a career in retail, specifically in a brand management or marketing capacity after school.

Camille Van Horne
Vice President, Treks
Prior to attending the GSB, Camille worked for Sears Holdings, reporting directly into ESL Investments, the hedge fund that owns a majority stake of the firm. She became the Director of Sears and Kmart’s online personal shopper program, a social e-commerce program that facilitates shopping through social referrals, and grew the business by 1000X in two years. Camille grew up in New York to French-American parents and attended the Lycée Français de New York. Her interest in consumer dates back to her senior year at the University of Chicago when she interned at Chanel in the Watches and Fine Jewelry Group.
